How much does fishing charter booking software cost?
Most options fall into three groups. Marketplaces like FishingBooker are free to join but take 10–30% of each trip they book. Subscription platforms charge $160–$299 a month, and some only include online deposits on their higher plans. RIVERRISE BOOKINGS is $99 a month, month to month, with online deposits, waivers and automatic balances included. Setup is $0 through November 30 ($500 after), and there’s no setup fee when you add it to any RIVERRISE plan. There are no platform or booking fees. Standard card processing applies.
Are there hidden fees or commissions?
No. There is no per-booking fee, commission or platform fee, for you or your guests. Payments go straight to your own Stripe account, and the only cost per booking is Stripe’s standard card processing.
Does it work with my current website?
Yes. It installs on most websites, and you don’t need WordPress. Booking runs on its own subdomain, like book.yourdomain.com, and your Book buttons open it from WordPress, Squarespace, Wix or a custom build.
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes. Payments go directly to your own Stripe account. If you don’t have one, we help you set it up during onboarding.
How fast can I be live?
Weeks, not a season. We set up your trips, seasons, pricing, boats, deposit rules, policies and waiver. You review, we build it into your site and connect your Stripe.
Can you move my existing bookings over?
Yes, from FareHarbor, FishingBooker or another system. We enter your upcoming trips so nothing gets missed, and we switch over in the off-season. Your current system finishes the bookings it already holds. Migration is included.
What happens when weather cancels a trip?
Close the trip in one step. Every guest gets an email to pick a new open date or ask for a refund, and what they paid moves with them. A storm day becomes a few clicks instead of a day on the phone.
Can I charge per person and per boat?
Both. Sell seats per angler, charge a flat price per boat, or offer both on the same trip.
Do my guests need to make an account?
No. They pick a date, choose a trip, enter their details and pay. Every confirmation includes a link to view their booking, pay the balance and sign the waiver.
Is the booking window in Spanish?
Guest-facing booking pages are in English today. If many of your guests book in Spanish, tell us on the demo.
How is this different from FareHarbor?
FareHarbor is free for operators and adds a booking fee to your guest’s checkout. RIVERRISE BOOKINGS is $99 a month and adds nothing to the guest’s price, so the total they see is the total they pay. Full FareHarbor comparison.
How is this different from FishingBooker?
FishingBooker is a marketplace: it can send you new anglers, and it takes a commission you choose between 10% and 30% on each trip it books. RIVERRISE BOOKINGS is your own booking system on your own website, with no commission. You can keep a marketplace listing for discovery and use RIVERRISE BOOKINGS for repeat guests and everyone who finds you directly. Calendar sync holds your marketplace bookings, so the same seat is never sold twice. Full FishingBooker comparison.
How does RIVERRISE BOOKINGS compare with Charter Pro?
Charter Pro builds you a new website and charges $160–$299 a month, with online deposits starting on its $240 plan. RIVERRISE BOOKINGS adds booking to the website you already have for $99 a month, with deposits, waivers, automatic balance charges and a staff phone app included. If you want a new site too, we build those as well. Full Charter Pro comparison.
