RIVERRISE BOOKINGS 1.9: arrange your booking flow
A full-width preview of your booking window: drag trips into order, choose which trips show, show seasonal trips only while their dates are ahead, and pick a card layout.
Booking flow
- NewA full-width preview of your booking window. Settings, Setup has a new Booking flow page that shows your booking window at the size guests see it on your site, on desktop, tablet or phone. Changes show in the preview as you make them.
- NewDrag to reorder. Drag trip cards into the order guests see them, so your best seller can lead.
- NewChoose which trips show. The Trips menu above the preview lists every trip with a checkbox. Untick a trip to take it off your site; its prices, seasons and past bookings stay, and ticking it brings it straight back.
- NewShow a trip only during its seasons. Each trip can show always, stay hidden, or show during its seasons. A short-season trip stays bookable while its dates are ahead, drops off on its own after the last day, and returns when you add next year’s season. Preview the day after your season ends to check.
- NewThree card layouts. Tall portrait photos, wide landscape photos in two columns, or rows with the photo on the left.
- ImprovedEdit a card in place. Click a card and an editor slides in to change its photo, name, short description and badge, such as “Guide’s pick.” The heading at the top of the booking window is set on this page too.
- ImprovedBooking window settings sit with it. Booking window, with your embed codes, booking form, colors and fonts, is listed under Booking flow in the Setup menu.
Calendar
- ImprovedBooked days stand out. Days with bookings have a light teal background on the calendar, so busy days are easy to spot across the month.

- ImprovedBigger trip photos. Trip cards lead with a larger photo, keep the description short, and have a Select dates button. Tapping a card goes straight to its dates.
- ImprovedCards fill the window. One, two or four trips spread across the full width of the booking window, and four trips sit in two rows of two.
- ImprovedRemove trips, seasons and start times. Each one has a remove button in Trips and seasons, with Undo until you save. Bookings already made keep their details and price.
- ImprovedLarger photo at checkout. The checkout step shows the trip photo at the same shape as the trip cards.
- FixedSwitching trips. Going back from the date step no longer greys out your other trips.
What stays the same
- ImprovedYour trips and wording. Every trip keeps showing, in the same order, until you change it. Your current booking window heading carries over to the new page.
